I’ve dressed many fashion shows for NYC Fashion Week but this past Sunday was the first time I dressed a presentation. A presentation is done in lieu of a fashion show. Buyers, press, magazines, clients, celebrities are invited to view a collection in much more casual environment. The models are dressed and then stand or pose (in this case for 2 hours) for the audience who can then take pictures and take their time viewing the looks. The guests are served cocktails and hors d’ oeuvres. I had the pleasure of working with Imitation of Christ and helping them present their Fall 2012 at the famed Buddakan restaurant.
