LBT: Are you from here [NYC] or are you visiting?
BTB: No I’m from here, I work here.
LBT: Oh okay. I come here all the time to catch people hanging out or on their lunch break. Its a good spot for people from different countries. Let me ask you a question, do you have a favorite fashion movie?
BTB: Probably a Godard film called Masculine Feminine.
LBT: Interesting. I’ve never seen that, I’m going to have to look that up. Do you have any style icons?
BTB: My mom.
LBT: Your mom? You are not the first person to say their mom…why is that? Can you describe her style?
BTB: She has a very few items but they are simple and chic. Which is not me right now but I strive to be that one day.
LBT: But right now it is all about having fun, right?! I feel like I get this Free People vibe from you, just a little bit. Do you have a favorite store in the city?
BTB: I do a lot of thrift store shopping but I guess retail…Zara.
LBT: I love Zara! Do you do consignment or total thrift Goodwill, Salvation Army?
BTB: Yeah [thrift].
LBT: I used to do a lot of thrift shopping. It take a lot of time and you really have to be in the mood to look. But I LOVE finding that one thing that one piece that makes it all worth it.
Thank you so much C for telling me your fashion secrets and being such a good sport. I hope you enjoy your post and maybe I’ll see you next lunch hour.~LadyBowTie
