Trends: Project NYC Menswear

On Monday, January 21 I went to Project NYC a menswear wholesale tradeshow to take a look at all thats new in men’s fashion.  You see, I’d really to like to open a men’s online store  sometime in the future. I want to get a handle on what is out there, designers, lines, price points, etc.  Menswear is a whole new world to me.  It is going to be a challenge trying to sort out what men want to wear.  Frankly, I feel men are more picky than women when it comes to their clothing.  Men are super loyal to their brands.   I just have to figure out which direction I want to go with the store.  Its a long term goal but I’m brain storming early.  Gentlemen any helpful suggestions?

I’ve been to a ton of women’s tradeshows and the men really know how to put on a good show!  The displays were amazing! Made me want to buy everything. Seriously the dames really need to take notes because Project and their vendors did an incredible job.

A few pictures from the show. Sorry for the lousy camera phone pics, I dropped and broke my camera last week and it is now in the shop.  My quick trend report for menswear at the bottom of the post.
